Not pictured— Redden as a Bruin on the bench/in the press box. (Yes, I know he hit 1,000 as a Blue and the Bruin part is irrelevant, but let me have this one.) Via Daniel Alfredsson’s Twitter. |

This awesome pixel art poster depicts the entire history of professional hockey uniforms in North America, from the first openly professional teams in 1900 to the Winter Classic uniforms of 2014! From the Pittsburgh Keystones to the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Silver Seven to the Broad Street Bullies, from Lord Stanley to Stamkos, the entirety of major North American professional hockey history is represented. The uniforms depicted include the WPHL, IPHL, ECHA, CHA, NHA, WHL, PCHA, WHA, and of course, the NHL.
With nearly 500 individual designs depicted, this is a perfect poster for hockey fans, sports history buffs, uni watchers, and more. The poster is 20 inches wide by 30 inches tall, and each player is roughly an inch tall, allowing for each design to be viewed clearly while still maintaining the pixel art feel.
Each poster is hand-numbered and signed by the artist.
If you’re a hockey fan or fan of jerseys or a fan of designing— this is what you need to get your hands on.
